Pam Wimbish, 74, of Brandon passed away February 15, 2015. Mrs. Wimbish was born in Baton Rouge, LA then moved to Alabama where she graduated from Hewitt-Trussville High School as valedictorian of her class. She went on to receive a degree in Business and Commerce from the University of Alabama. Mrs. Wimbish had a 20 year teaching career at Richland High School in Richland, MS.
Mrs. Wimbish loved her family and was a mentor to many. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jon Wimbish; children and their spouses, Chris and Holly Wimbish of Canton, GA, Allison and Pax Glenn of Austin, TX; grandchildren, Olivia and Arden Wimbish, Paxson, Wesley and Isabelle Glenn. Her sisters and their spouses, Cleo Kling, Marsha and James Daley, Valerie and James Brown, Vicki and Jim Hill, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday February 19 at 1:00 PM at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, Brandon, MS with visitation beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Parkway Memorial Cemetery.
