Verna Dean East, 79, of Quinton, VA passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2022.
Verna was born on July 30, 1942 to the late Lee and Lucy Dean. She is preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Gantt and brother, Robert Dean.
Verna retired from Verizon as a clerk after 34 years of service. She was a member of the Moose Club where she loved dancing and enjoyed “Dance Night.” Verna had Corticobasal degeneration (CBD) disease for several years.
Verna leaves to cherish her memories, a loving husband, Choice East; daughter, Deena Dowdy (Rob); two grandchildren, Joshua and Halie Eddleton; and a brother, Arthur Dean (Jackie).
