Timothy Judson Thomas

THOMAS, Timothy Judson, 62, went to be with his Heavenly Father on October 2, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Nellie Thomas; and brother, Andrew Thomas Jr. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Marie VanNess Thomas; 3 children, Jody Dodd (Steven), Nancy S. Hatley (Rodney), Christopher M. Smith; sisters, Celia Lee, Nan Vest (Dolphus), and Diane Merrick (Bob); brother, Patrick Thomas (Peggy); 4 grandchildren; and a host of many other family members and friends and his faithful dog, Jack. Tim enjoyed all things outdoors from sports, to fishing, and being at his river house. The family will receive friends on Sunday, 10/5/14 from 4-8pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Richmond. VA 23231; where a chapel service will be held Monday, 10/6/14 at 11am. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
