Stephen Richardson Ripley

RIPLEY, Stephen Richardson, 41, of Henrico County, left this world for the next great adventure Sunday, May 22, 2011. He was our beloved brother, son, husband, uncle and father. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Margaret Miller, who were his second parents to him. Stephen is survived by his wife of 16 years and his onetime soulmate, Lisa; their precious sons, Tyler and Connor; his mother and her husband, Kathleen Williamson and Arthur Williamson; his father, Rick Ripley; his grandmother, Audrey Ripley; his three cherished brothers, Patrick Williamson and his wife, Valarie, Matthew Williamson and Nate Williamson and his fiancee, Marie; his cousin, Andrew Miller, that he viewed more as a friend; his mother and father-in-law, Ingrid and Richard Walczak; his cat, Sophie; his pug, Xander; his boston terrier, Spike; and countless other dear friends that made his time on this earth joyful, Mark Adkins and John Fitzgerald and his fellow workers at Capital One. Though God only gave him to us for 41 short years, those years were filled with enough love and good memories to fill a dozen lifetimes. I find comfort in knowing that I have the best guardian angel I could have wished for. Stephen, you were much loved by everyone and will never be forgotten. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 26, 2011 at the Parham Chapel Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 27, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 9505 Gayton Road, Richmond. Burial will follow at Westhampton Memorial Park.
