Sharon V. Turner, 78, of Richmond, gained her Heavenly Wings on Sunday, December 24, 2023.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul V. Turner; daughter, baby Theresa; parents, Lucious Kyle and Margarette Morgan Vaughan; sister, Bonnie Tiller.
Sharon was a loving, kind and giving woman of God, and she loved all those she knew. She especially loved children and her dogs, Coco, Snoopy, Brandy and Dexter, and Suzy the squirrel.
Sharon retired from Southern States after 45 years of service as a Human Resource Manager.
She is survived by her nieces, Tonya Turner and children, Neal and his wife, Viktoriya, and Brooke, Pamela Turner, Theresa Vest and her husband, Bryan Vest, Wanda Lester, Becky Matthews, Betsy Earley, Amy Howard, Sandy Davis and her husband, Jimmy, Christina Turner; nephews, Michael Howard, Danny Spence, Jack Collins, Wayne Matthews and wife JoAnne, Douglas Turner, Jr., Michael Collins; cousin, Mark Hodges; sisters in law, betty Howard and her husband, Charles, Maybelle Spence and her husband Lloyd; brother in law, Douglas Turner; and a host of extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 29th, from 8:30 am until service time at 9:30 am at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
