Sharon Raymer Nichols

Sharon Raymer Nichols, 78, of Powhatan, Virginia went to be with the Lord on March 28, 2023. Sharon was born August 31, 1944 to Aaron Louis Raymer and Thelma Stanley Raymer. She is predeceased by her parents, survived by her husband of 56 years, Ronald Nichols; sister Patricia Thompson (Ernest); son Jeffrey Nichols (Cynthia); grandchildren Bethany and Travis Nichols; niece Melissa Doyle; nephew Jeremy Thompson and great nieces/nephew Marissa Doyle; Jacob Doyle and Nevaeh Doyle. Sharon graduated from South Plains College School of Nursing, Lubbock, Texas in 1984 and was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Richmond, Virginia. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was a lover of pets and wildlife. She was an avid reader with a particular fondness for American history, English monarchical history and Celtic music. A funeral service will be held on April 4, 2023 at 1:15 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2315 North Parham Road, Henrico, Virginia 23229 with visitation 45 minutes prior. Graveside service to follow at Dale Memorial Park, 10201 Newbys Bridge Road, Chesterfield, Virginia 23832. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Trinity Lutheran church.
