Ronald B. Dickerson, 81, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2015, at his home, surrounded by family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Ruby Lee; his devoted daughter, Tamera; Roy and Michael; and his cousin Calvin Wayne Porter, his wife Laura and their family. Ron graduated from Varina High School in 1952 and served in the Air Force and in the Naval Reserve. He later retired from Whitehall-Robbins, and was a member of the Thomas N. Davis Masonic Lodge. We will always remember how much he loved those “damn pink flamingos,” he will be sorely missed by all. A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Thursday, November 12 at Washington Memorial Park.
