Roland T. "Buzzy" Harris, Jr.

HARRIS, Roland T. “Buzzy”, Jr., 79, of Deltaville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 8, 2020. He was a contractor and a member of Zoar Baptist Church, Deltaville, Va., and the Army National Guard. He was preceded in death by his wife, Acolene Harris; father, Roland Harris Sr.; and mother, Juanita Harris. He is survived by his sons, Bradley Harris Sr. (Sue) and Christopher Harris (Laura); grandchildren, Bradley Jr., Benjamin, Ashley and Bailey; great-grandchild, Bradley III; sisters, Joan Evans (Charlie), Betty Vaughan (Ray), Judy Metheny (Buddy) and Sherry Gregory (Linwood); and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday, January 13, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, where services will be held Tuesday, January 14, at 12 p.m. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
