Margie Belcher Moses

MOSES, MARGIE BELCHER (MEME) - Born January 6, 1929 in Dorton, KY passed this life peacefully December 22nd, surrounded by family and her longtime BFF Mama Joyce. She was preceded in death by her sweet daughter Sherry, her parents Prentis and Victoria Belcher and 12 of her siblings. Meme leaves to cherish her memory and that infectious Meme smile, her devoted daughter Sandy Wilson (Johnny), two granddaughters: Shanah (Nikki) Jute and Casey Lee Chandler, two great grandsons: Nathan and Nicholas Jute, her baby sister Thelma Ripley (Dave), sister in law Margaret Belcher and numerous nieces and nephews.

Margie worked at Philip Morris, was a self-employed hairdresser, worked for 7-11 and then Food Lion before retiring for the second time at age 75 to enjoy family time. She loved her family and lived her life on her own terms and we all loved her for it.

Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday December 29th at 11am followed by a Celebration of Life at noon at Nelsen Funeral Home - Richmond Chapel, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Richmond. Interment to follow at Washington Memorial Park will be private.
