Margie Viola Denton – 85, of Sandston passed away January 9, 2014, widow of Otis Ashton Denton, Sr. survived by children: Diane Denton, Otis Denton, Jr. (Leila) & James Denton (Phyllis), grandchildren: Debbie Weeks (Lloyd), Robbie Parker (Brenda), Adam Denton, Shannon Brown (Jason), Joey Denton (Lisa), Elisabeth Denton, & Shawn Denton, great-grandchildren: Kristina Weeks, Tabitha, Matthew & Casey Parker, Emma & Colby Denton, sister: Alice Barton, brother: Bill Denton, many nieces & nephews, & beloved cat, Barney. Member of Corinth United Methodist Church since 1955, Christian Fellowship Class, Joy Club, Fun & Fellowship Sewing Circle & UMW. Visitation at Nelsen Funeral Home Sunday, from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm. Service at Corinth United Methodist Church on Monday at 1 pm, then the committal at Washington Memorial Park followed by reception at Corinth United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Corinth United Methodist Church.
