Lawrence Donald Powell, Jr., age 81, of Gloucester, Virginia passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022. Lawrence was born June 14, 1940.
Lawrence was preceded in death by his son, Lawrence D. Powell, III. He is survived by his wife, Ann C. Powell; son, J. Barron Powell; three grandchildren, Brand Powell, Chris Clevenger, and Samantha Gobert; and one great grandson, Lucas Gobert.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 3, 2022 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 South Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA 23231 where a funeral service will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
