Henry Franklin “Frank” Pope, 78, of Sandston, went to his heavenly home on Thursday, February 4, 2021.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Gaynell Brackett Pope and his brothers, Gene, Lloyd and Jerry Pope.
Frank served honorably in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He worked as an air craft mechanic for Reynolds Metals Aviation. Frank enjoyed pickin’ bluegrass music, working in the yard and he attended church faithfully at Sandston Presbyterian Church.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Judith C. Pope; children, Jennifer Pope McLaughlin and Jeneane Pope Lucas (David); grandchildren, Christy D. McLaughlin, Paula G. McLaughlin, Kaylee L. Crockett, Zachary D. Lucas and Tyler C. Lucas; sister, Cecilia Pope Gilmer (Grant); sister-in-law, Trina Knox (Joe Jaspers); brothers-in-law, Tony Christy and Jessie Williams (Debbie).
In an effort to keep everyone safe during the pandemic, a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
