O’BRIEN, Clyde Lambert, 89, of Highland Springs, died Tuesday, November 26, 2013. Clyde was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and retired from VDOT as a Weigh Party Chief in Sandston. Clyde was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Virginia B. O’Brien; parents, Lawrence and Fannie O’Brien; brother, Lindsey L. O’Brien; grandson, Duane L. Prince, Sr.; and son-in-law, Herbert E. Liles, Sr. He is survived by his daughters, Ann Prince (Bubba) and Linda Liles; grandchildren, Clyde Baldwin (Beth), Michelle Jackson, Andy Baldwin (Susan), William Prince (Kristina), Krystle Prince (Jason), Becky Prince-Creech (Jake); 13 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Ruth O’Brien and Macie Allen; brother-in-law, Lawrence (Bill) Butler. Clyde was a man of integrity and leadership. He was devoted to his family which was shown through his love, patience, understanding and kindness. He also had a strong belief in his lord and savior, Jesus Christ. He has now left us to join his loving wife, Virginia. He will be greatly missed by his family and all that knew and loved him. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 29, 2013 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue Richmond, Va 23231. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at Washington Memorial Park.
