Christine Fenton Noll, 74, passed away at 7 a.m. Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Sunrise Senior Living, Richmond, VA in the company of her daughter. Born October 15, 1948 in Williamsport, PA, Chris grew up in Central Pennsylvania, lived in Big Rapids, MI, Virginia Beach, VA, and Wilmington, NC before returning to Lewisburg, PA.
A Lewisburg Green Dragon, Class of 1966, she headed to Altoona, PA becoming a Nittany Lion earning her degree in merchandising from Pennsylvania State University. She married her high school sweetheart in January 1971 at Rooke Chapel on the Bucknell University campus.
Chris, worked early in her career in development for Head Start in Michigan. Later, she and her late husband Steve, owned and operated two independent pharmacies together. Chris relished her profession with her husband and, of course, as a mother.
Chris loved so many things – adoring her husband and daughter and granddaughters, Penn State football, and especially spending time on the water boating and fishing with her husband.
Chris is preceded in death by her father Charles E. Fenton and Dorothy Doolittle Fenton, and her husband Steven R. Noll. Surviving are one daughter, Jessica Noll McClain and son-in-law Matt McClain of Richmond, VA; two granddaughters Pearl Caroline McClain and Vivien Dorothy McClain both of Richmond, VA; and one sister, Mary Faint, of Reidsville, NC.
