Brandon was preceded in death by his father, William Dunlap; grandmother, Audrey Shell; and his grandfather, Charles Shell.
Brandon leaves behind a loving wife of 20 years, Jessica Shell and two boys, Brandon Shell, II and Jaxson Shell ages 13 and seven. Also left to cherish Brandon’s memory are his mother, Melody Dunlap Scott (Darren); brothers, William “Trea” Dunlap (Rachel), Adam Scott, and Jacob Lancaster; sister-in-law, Samantha Bannister (Curtis); brother-in-law, Jeffrey Durgin; nieces and nephews; and numerous extended relatives and friends.
Brandon was a small business owner and worked primarily as a welder. His hobbies included fishing, car shows, and spending time with his family and friends. Brandon embodied the qualities of an exceptional father, husband, son, brother, and friend. He cherished every moment spent with his family, his devotion was unmatched. Brandon worked tirelessly each day, providing unwavering support for his family. His warm and generous nature endeared him to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 12, 2023 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 North Parham Road, Henrico, VA 23229 where a funeral service will be held the following morning at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens, 12609 Patterson Avenue, Richmond, VA 23238.
