Barbara Emerson Agee

Agee, Barbara Emerson, 84, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, February 4, 2023. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 50 years, Bobby Agee; youngest son, Michael Agee; daughter-in-law, Ann Agee; parents, Verner and Mildred Emerson; sister, Evelyn Ferrell (Raymond); brothers, Kerry and Billy Emerson; and sister-in-law, Vernelle Emerson. She is survived by her sons, Steve, Gary (Nancy), Mark (Donna); siblings, Jerry Emerson, and Fay King (Tommy); grandchildren, Rachel Agee, Melissa Stockdale (Lewis), Matthew Culbertson, Douglas, Andrew (Megan), Alex (Hollie), Amanda Agee; and great granddaughter on the way, Ella Marie; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends. Barbara was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. Family meant everything to her, and she meant the world to us. She will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 pm, Wednesday, February 8 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave, Richmond VA 23231, where the service will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 10:00 am, interment to follow.
