BOURNE, Ann W., 79, of Quinton, passed away on December 24, 2015. She was a dedicated homemaker and a longtime member of the Red Hatters Association. She loved flowers and enjoyed working in her garden. Ann was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Sonny. She is survived by her loving husband, Leo H. Bourne Sr.; two sons, Walter Bourne (Donna) and Leo H. Bourne Jr.; grandchildren, Trey Bourne, Jacob and Jessica Kimmel; sisters, Sylvia Vass and Shirley Gregory; along with a host of friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 30, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., where a service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Richmond SPCA, 2519 Hermitage Rd., Richmond, Va. 23220. The family would like to give a special thanks to all of the care providers that Ann has had, especially those at St. Mary's.
