Holloway, Alpha Stanley, 91, of Richmond, passed away peacefully on May 23, 2015. She is preceded in death by her husband, John “Happy” Holloway; parents, Elizabeth and George Stanley; sisters, Margie Lyne, Jean Wilhelm, Helen Ferrel and Brother, Kenneth Stanley. She is survived by her son, Allen Wayne “Pete” Holloway (Melinda); daughters, Jean O’Berry (“Skip”) and Sheri Blake (Gary); grandchildren, David Holloway, John Holloway (Kristen) and Lisa Small; brother, Douglas Stanley (Edna); seven great- grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren. A special thanks goes out to Dr. Andrew Tierny, the staff at Autumn Care and her loving friends and family. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 27, from 11am-1 pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Richmond VA 23231, with services to immediately follow. Interment will be held at Washington Memorial Park, 6217 Memorial Drive, Sandston, Va. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be left to Four Mile Creek Baptist Church, 2950 New Market Rd., Henrico Va.
