He was born in Dallas, TX on December 7th, 1921. Vincent graduated from North Dallas High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Southern Methodist University.
Vincent’s university studies were interrupted by World War II. He enlisted in the Army Air Corps and worked as an airplane mechanic. He was proud of his service, and in recent years, he loved to wear his Army Air Corps cap with the WWII Veteran pin. He had many wonderful conversations with the folks who would thank him for his service. Following the army, Vincent had a distinguished career as an Engineer in sales and was the founding partner of Atlas Engineering, Inc. He was a proud member of the Engineer’s Club in Dallas.
As a lifelong Catholic, Vincent’s faith was the foundation of his life and he lived it every day. He was a parishioner of St. Mark’s Catholic Community of Plano where he served as an usher and was a member of the Serra Club and the Empty Nesters.
Vincent married the love of his life, Florence Muse, on May 27th, 1949. They recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary after raising six children and doting on 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
