Susan Hux Phillips

Susan Regina Hux Phillips was born on August 7, 1951, in Jackson, MS, and went to be with our Lord on October 21, 2024. She grew up in Jackson and attended Forest Hill School where she was a Majorette and Saxophone player in the school band. It was at Forest Hill where she met the love of her life, Tom, and they were married in 1969. She and Tom made a beautiful life together in Dallas and were inseparable. She touched many lives with her kindness and compassion and served as a profound testament to our Lord in her absolute love and devotion to her husband and children.

Sue is survived by her son Eric and wife Leah, daughter Courtney and husband Derik, grandson Wyatt and granddaughter Seren, sisters Judi and Jenni and brother Glenn, brothers-in-law Mike and David, and sister-in-law Patty, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held October 27, 2024, at Sparkman Funeral Home in Richardson, TX with a graveside service immediately following in the Whispering Waters section at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas. You and Me….
