Siu Ngor Chan age 92 passed away peacefully at her home in Garland, Texas on August 7, 2024. Siu Ngor was born to her father Chen Xiu Nan and mother Bao Xiu Ying on October 29, 1931 (Lunar calendar), in Ningbo, China.
Siu Ngor was preceded in death by her husband Wan Kau and is survived by her 5 children; Chi Wai, Chi Ping, Chui Ping, Yau Ping, Chi Ho, and 10 grandchildren; Shawn, Janelle, Ryan, Christopher, Jennica, Jessica, Wesley, Mitchell, Cynthis and Nathan, and 1 great grandchild Avery.
Siu Ngor was a kind, devoted, and caring mother and grandmother who loved her children and grandchildren dearly. She enjoyed family gatherings at birthdays, holidays, and dim-sum at Golden Joy. She was the best homemaker anyone can wish for, she made a home filled with love, warmth, joy and laughters. She expressed her love to her family by crafting a multiple course dinner with shanghaiese dishes and delicacies.
She will be greatly missed.
