Jean had a career in Cosmetology all of her life, starting when she 16 working for her mother until retiring with her own studio in 1996.
She was a kind and wonderful person, very religious and compassionate to all. She was a volunteer at Baylor Hospital for over 10 years, gave to many charitable organizations and loved animals (many dogs and cats over the years). Born in New York City and got married to my Dad in 1946 and had over 20 years of a great partnership and a loving mother to two boys (Bob and Brad), then moved to Florida where she spent most her life until moving to Texas 20 years ago to be with family. She worked two jobs to get me through college and I wouldn’t be who and where I am today without her. Love you Mom.
Jean had a passion for playing tennis, she would be on the courts for hours at a time every day. She also liked interior designing and collected many antiques and collectables (cups & saucers, plates, Bone China items, Thomas Kincaid paintings). She liked anything Pink, especially the inside of her home. She was an avid Dallas sports fan, which was something new to me as I was growing up.
Jean is survived by her children; Bob Scott and Daughter-in-Law Terry, Brad Scott and Daughter-in-Law Dottie, her grandchildren; Ashley Scott, Samantha Scott Findley, Richard Woodiel, and great-grandchildren; Noah Woodiel, Landon Sarr, and Faith Findley.
