Jane Cole Green, 92, of Richardson, TX. She was born in Mesquite, TX to Robert and Thelma (Robertson) Cole. Jane will be remembered as compassionate, funny, outgoing, and kind. She loved her family and friends dearly.
Jane graduated from Mesquite High School and was often told by people she met that they remembered listening to the Mesquite Skeeters football games on the radio. She knew her husband Tom while growing up and they got married on August 20, 1950. They would have celebrated 74 years of marriage this year.
Jane worked for many years as an apparel wholesale representative. She was a top seller and had Showrooms in the Dallas Apparel Mart. Jane could sell you anything, even the idea of eating the green beans on our plate for dinner. - she was that good!
She was a part of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary, American Legion, and volunteered for many years at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Jane was a huge advocate for Veterans, and they were dear to her heart. She was a member of the Lake Park Presbyterian Church in Dallas.
She is predeceased by her husband Tom Green; granddaughter Carley Sturgell; and her parents.
Jane is survived by her daughters Pricilla, Stephani, and LaChell; 9 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
