William J. Arthur(Bill), a lifelong resident of the Seattle area, died peacefully on January 23, 2015, at the age of 95. He was born on October 17, 1919 to parents William and Cora Arthur. On Sept 25, 1953, William married Vivian, the love of his life. He willingly served his country in the Second World War, and retired after 30 years as a longshoreman in Seattle. He loved hunting and fishing and traveling. He is survived by his wife,of 61 years, Vivian, ; children Bill Arthur, April Nelson, Craig Chase, and Paula Johnson; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara Kaul. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Union Gospel Mission, Seattle.
