Kenneth Edward Mustell, age 86, of Burien WA passed away Saturday June 25th, 2022. He was born April 23, 1936. His early years were spent in the Wenatchee WA, some of those on a ranch with his beloved grandmother. In his early teens he moved with his family to Seattle and graduated from Foster High School.
Ken served in the Army from 1957 to 1960.
He took business classes in college and went on to work in the grocery business. He managed multiple grocery stores and store chains, as well as owning his own store.
He met the love of his life, Joyce Mustell a mother of three girls, around 1966 while managing a grocery store on Rainier Ave in Seattle. They married in 1967. Ken enjoyed people, music, theatre and everything the Pacific Northwest had to offer. Early in the marriage he and Joyce purchased a family cabin on the Wenatchee River, near Plain, Washington. The family spent nearly every weekend at the cabin and enjoyed all the area had to offer including, fishing, swimming, boating, and lots of snow in the winter. Kens most cherished role in life was being a family man. He was a caring and doting husband to Joyce, and a wonderful dad, grandfather and great grandfather. He will be dearly missed, but the memories will always remain.
Ken is survived by his wife of 55 years Joyce Mustell, and daughters Linda Crisamore, Patty Kristiansen and Janice Noel, brothers Greg Goldsmith and Richard Goldsmith. He has 5 grandchildren (Jennifer Crisamore, Eddie Crisamore, Sarah Ledbedder, Ryan Fisher, Ali Kristiansen) and 10 great grandchildren.
