Emily went home to her Lord and Savior on May 3, 2011.Emily Elizabeth Baglien born June 21, 1919 in Malta, Montana to Clarence and Nellie Peterson Whitaker. Moved to North Dakota at age 2. She was the middle of seven children. Emily graduated from Covington High in North Dakota in 1938. Married Ray C. Baglien August 1, 1942 in Reno, Nevada. Ray was a flight engineer in the Air Corps, stationed at Stockton Field, California. After leaving the service they moved to Renton, Washington in 1946. They were married for 68 years. Emily was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church for 55 Years; member of American Legion Auxiliary Fred Hancock, Unit 19 in Renton for 61 years. Emily and Ray have three wonderful daughters Charlene Tucker (Tom), Jodine Warfle (Ed) and Candace Long (Wayne); four granddaughters Michelle, Tiffany, Monica and Tami; nine great grandchildren.
