At church there was a woman in front of us in her late 80s. We were all singing and she raised her hands in worship. As she did, tears filled my eyes because her hands reminded me of Grammy’s hands. It reminded me of how much Grammy’s hands made an impact and her hands are now praising God in heaven. Be it sewing, fixing, cooking, cleaning, creating, or praising, those hands brought life. What a blessing her hands were to all around her. The spoon ring she would wear is such a sweet memory of her hard-working hands. I pray my hands will bring goodness and praise like hers did.
