Alfredo Atalig Pua, 65, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, died on September 27th, 2024 in Washington. He was born on January 19th, 1959 in Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands. He retired in 2022 after 25 dedicated years of service with King County Sheriff’s Department.
He was preceded in death by his father Juan S. Pua, his mother Lourdes A. Pua, his brother Sylvan Pua, his sister-in-law Trinidad Pua, and brothers-in-law Ricardo Castro and Jose San Nicolas.
Alfredo is survived by his wife Jesusa Pua, children Corina Magofna, Wayne Pua, Quinn Pua, Samantha Pua, and Keanu Pua, grandchildren Darius Rios, Caden Pua, Aiyani Rios, Eli Josiah Gundram, and Alexis Josefina Gundram, and siblings Edward and Doris Pua, Lorenza Castro, Remedio San Nicolas, Martin and Rosa Pua, John James Jr. and Patroicinia Pua, Winfred Pua and Anette Castro, and Jesse Pua and Flavian Hocog.
A celebration of his life will held back home in Saipan at Santa Remedios Church in Tanapag, where he will also be laid to rest.
