Rose Marie Seitz

Sept. 23, 1924 – July 27, 2013

Surrounded by her family Rose passed away peacefully on the evening of July 27, 2013. Rose was predeceased by her parents Michael and Madeline; husband Bert; grandson Leigh Seitz and great great granddaughter Lily Rae Holmes; brothers Valentine (Louise); Joe (Pauline), brothers-in-law Paul Sperling and John Shuman; sisters Julia Ell, Elizabeth Menssa, Clara (Leo) Fahlman. Rose will be lovingly remembered by her family Wilma (Bob) Oliver, Murray, Greg (Edie), Lynnette (Fred) Weinberger, Lavina (Bill); 19 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren also two sisters Anna Marie Sperling, Kay Shuman; brothers Mike and Barney; brother-in-law Peter Ell as well as other extended family members.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Holy Child RC Church 2636 – 7th Avenue East at 11:00 AM at with Rev. Danilo Rafael officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. Lok and the staff of Parkside Extendicare for their kindness and compassion shown to mom.
