Helen Kovach

She was predeceased by her brothers Joseph, John, Frank, Zoltan, and Bill; sisters Margaret, Elizabeth, and Helen; husband Frank; and daughter Patricia (Patsy). Helen is lovingly remembered by her sister Ethel Sulea (Steve); daughter Margaret Kovach (Monty); grandchildren Jordan German (Shea), Jenarae Spence (Colter), and Rachel Montgomery; great-grandchildren Aubrie Baer, Georgia German, and Ronan Spence, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and many great friends.

Helen was born in Stockholm, SK to her parents Joseph and Elizabeth Kish. She attended Marigold School, where Miss Bosky taught her one of her favourite pastimes – to crochet. Helen loved the outdoors, animals, and gardening. She spent many of her days in the company of friends enjoying a cup of coffee in the kitchen, and took great pride in her family, delighting in seeing them grow.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 801 Qu’Appelle Avenue in Cupar, SK on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with a luncheon to follow in the church basement. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
