Garry Leroy Holt

March 29, 1944 - July 29, 2016

Garry passed away peacefully in the presence of family at Regina Pioneer Village where he has resided for the past few years, at the age of 72.

Garry was born on March 29, 1944 in Bengough ,Saskatchewan to Vera and Henry Holt. He was raised on the family farm in the Bengough area.

Garry leaves to cherish his memory his son Blake (Paula) and their children Bailey, Lewis and Tommy and his daughter Buffy (Jeremy) and their children Eli and Sam. He is also survived by his siblings Neal (Margaret),Margaret, Eric (Doris), Keith (Paulette),Dennis(Donna),Shirley (Paul),Karen (Earle),Wayne (Teri), several nieces ,nephews and friends.

Garry will be fondly remembered as a loving father and grandfather, a kind ,friendly and gentle soul, a devoted Christian ,an active member of Faith Baptist Church and an avid sports enthusiast.

At the family's request and Garry's wishes cremation will be followed by a private family gathering at a later date.

Donations in Garry's memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Regina Pioneer Village or Faith Baptist Church.

The family wishes to thank the dedicated staff of 4West Regina Pioneer Village for the care given and compassion shown to Garry in his final years. A special Thankyou to his friends from Faith Baptist Church for their love and support.
