Carol Marie Spencer

It is with great sadness that our family announce the sudden passing of our beloved wife and mother, Carol Marie Spencer on April 13, 2021 at the age of 72 years. Carol is survived by her loving family; husband of 49 years, Ken; son Jeff (Tracy) and their two boys Tye and Kale; and daughter Brianne (Kyle) McFetridge and their daughter Mackenzie and son Alex; nephews and nieces Mike (Vicky), Russ (Sherry), Kevin (Suzanne), Debbie Hilderman and their families. Carol was predeceased by her father Cecil & mother Mamie; as well as her brother Bob and his wife Doreen. Carol grew up on the family farm near Laura, Saskatchewan and later attended Business College in Saskatoon. Carol spent the majority of her career working as a receptionist eventually retiring from the Brown Communication Group. In Carol’s spare time she enjoyed ladies golf with her friend; loved gardening and caring for her flowers in her backyard and was an avid Regina Pats and Saskatchewan Roughriders fan. One of Carol’s greatest joys was watching her grandchildren participate in hockey, lacrosse and dance. During her retirement, Carol & Ken enjoyed traveling to Cuba, Mexico, Dominican Republic and many other places. Carol was very proud of her family and cherished every minute of family time and holiday gatherings. Carol will be remembered for her active role in the community and for her love of helping out on numerous projects. A celebration of Carol’s life will be held at a later date.
