Hija de Amalia de los Santos y José María Robles nació el 19 de Enero del 1929 en Santa Maria de los Ángeles Jalisco, México. A la edad de 19 anos concia el joven Antonio Olvera y fueron casado. Enseguida se movieren para Edinburg, Texas en donde nació su primer hija, tres días después de nacida murió de doble pulmonía. Regresaron para México y fue donde nació su primer hijo Heliodoro. Al año decidieron regresar para Texas donde nacieron dos hijos más. En el año 1954 se cambiaron para Bakersfield, California donde nacieron tres más de sus hijos. Por último se migraron a la cuidad de Redwood City, California en lo cual nacieron los últimos cinco hijos. En 1972 sufrió la pérdida de su esposo y con 8 hijos todavía para crear, se dedico a cuidar niños. Pasaron cuatro años cuando sufrió otro golpe, su segundo hijo mayor falleció en un accidente. A pasar de los siguió luchando para cuidar de los hijos que quedaron. En 1985 viéndose sola y sin recursos se decidió unirse matrimonio con el Señor Fortunato Pérez y después de 9 años hicieron decisión de buscar una casa en Fresno, California. Por dificultades que tuvieron decidieron tomar cada uno su camino. En el 2009 fue diagnosticada con una enfermedad de la sangre y al año después sufrió la pérdida de su pierna derecha. Siguió enferma hasta que entrego su vida el 11 de agosto del 2011 a las 5:02 de la tarde...
Daughter of Amalia de los Santos and Jose Maria Robles, she was born on January 19, 1929 in Santa Maria de Los Ángeles Jalisco Mexico. At the age of 19, she met a young man named Antonio Olivera and they got married. Soon after they moved to Edinburg, Texas where her first daughter was born, but three days after birth, she died of double pneumonia. Returning to Mexico, she had a son, Heliodoro. A year after they returned to Texas where two more children were born. In 1954, she moved to Bakersfield, California where three more children were born. Finally they migrated to Redwood City, California where her last five children were born. In 1972, she suffered the loss of her husband and with eight children to care for, she dedicated herself to babysitting. Four years later, she suffered another loss. Her second son died in an accident. Through the years, she continued laboring for the well being of the children that were left. In 1985 alone and with no other
Recourse, she decided to marry Fortunato Pérez and after being together for nine years, they decided to move to Fresno. Shortly after, having difficulties in their marriage, it was agreed that they would go their own separate ways. In 2009, she was diagnosed with a blood disease and one year later, she lost her leg. Her illness continued until she gave in and passed away at home on August 11, 2011 at 5:02 p.m.p.m.
