Proceeded in death by his parents Willis and Elsie Bacon, wife Betty and 4 grandchildren.
Survived by children Gerald (Bev) Bacon, Paulette Gibson, Steve Bacon, Jim (Deb) Bacon, Cheryl Rosiek, Bonnie Bacon; 9 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Paul served in the US Navy during WWII and the Civilian Conservation Corps. He loved roller skating, camping, hunting and his family. Paul was recognized for his many volunteer services for the Special Olympics.
A visitation for Paul will be held Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Harry J Will Funeral Homes, 25450 Plymouth Rd., Redford, Michigan 48239. A funeral in state will occur Sunday, February 2, 2020 at 12:00 PM, 25450 Plymouth Rd., Redford, Michigan 48239 with a funeral service at 1:00 PM. A burial will occur at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Rd, Holly, Michigan 48442
