Jared Gray Powers

He passed of congestive heart failure. A weak heart. He graduated from Southfield High school class of 1990, where he was captain of the boys swim team. He attended Wayne State for two years to get a law enforcement degree.

Graduated Oakland Community College with two degrees one in Culinary Arts and an Associates in Liberal Arts. Certification in pharmacy technician. He was a loving father to his daughter. He loved to cook and to help others.

He came to the US from Pusan, Korea at four and a half years old. He was adopted through the Holt Adoption Agency. He flew into Minneapolis Minnesota in 1975. He became a citizen of the United States in 1982. He had to recite the oath of allegiance. He is survived by his parents Ed and Deb Powers, sister Paige Powers, daughter Breanna Powers.
