Kathy Jean Stout

Kathy Jean Stout of Fall River Mills, CA passed away Jan. 9, 2024. Kathy was born Jan. 1, 1952 in Bieber, Ca. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Stout, her parents, William and Shirley Christopher, and her brother Mark Christopher. She is survived by her sister Kelly Jungwirth, and brothers David and Michael Christopher, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She attended Cottonwood Elementary School, Anderson Union High School and Shasta College. Kathy worked as a pharmacy technician for Mercy Medical Center Pharmacy for 24 years. In 1998, Kathy and Tom purchased and ran Fall River Pharmacy. They participated in multiple activities to help the community through volunteering their time and financial donations to various organizations. Supporting the youth through both educational and agricultural/livestock activities was also a main focus. Kathy enjoyed traveling, gardening, creating jewelry, paddling in her skull boat and ski trips with Toms fraternity brothers and their wives. She was a gourmet cook and loved preparing meals and entertaining family and friends. She was involved with the Heritage Foundation, the Cowgirl Jubilee and was a member of Sisters on the Fly. Throughout her life she had multiple canine companions, which she showered with love and affection.

Funeral services will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery in McArthur, CA at 12:00 April 5, 2024.

A Celebration of Life will follow at Ingram Hall.

a foundation honoring America’s First Responders, Veterans and their Families.
