Dan was born on April 17th, 1939 in San Antonio, TX ro Euma and Joseph "Jack" Sheppard. In 1965 he married Vicki and they had a 39 year marriage before she passed away. They had 2 children Michael and Deborah. One granddaughter Jessica Sheppard, and one great grandson Levi Tolson. Dan enjoyed T.V. show and movies. He always had a listening ear for those in need, and often some sound advice to ease your worry. You were guaranteed to leave in a better mood, and some kind of snack in hand. He will be deeply missed by the many people he touched throughout his 85 years. Thank you to Sierra Oaks and Freedom hospice for all of the care, love, and support. It is greatly appreciated. The celebration of life will take place on April 21st, 2025 at McDonalds chapel in Redding, CA at 12pm all are invited to celebrate. May the man, the myth, and the legend live forever in our hearts and memories.
