Cheryl Lynn Herring

Cheryl L Herring 51, of Redding, California passed away on September 24, 2020. Cheryl L Herring was born on November 27, 1968 in Long Beach, Ca. to Edward and Georgia Hall. She Graduated from Armijo High in 1986.

Cheryl married Dale Herring in 2016, after a 5 year relationship. This is not where their relationship started, Cheryl and Dale have known their self since 7th grade. They knew each other all through junior high school and high school. Dale went on to the Military and lost connection with Cheryl. After Dale came back from Afghanistan in 2011 thanks to facebook he and Cheryl were connected again. Cheryl had reached out to him and said Hi it was an instantaneous connection. Dale drove across the country to come see her and within 2 months of them reconnecting they had moved in together. They bought a home together 6 months after that and they knew that they must spend the rest of their lives together; Dale knew she was his forever her eternal soul is forever a part of him. In 2018 Dale and Cheryl came to Redding, California to look for their forever dream home and moved to Shasta County.

Cheryl enjoyed all things Disney and spending time with her Husband. Her friends and family will remember as a kind trusting soul and a smile and laugh that could melt any heart.

Cheryl Herring is survived by her husband Dale Herring, her children Robert Hanson of Redding, California; her daughter Katherine Hanson of Boston; her Mother Georgia Hall and her three sisters, Barbara, Betsey, and Trisha. She is preceded in death by her Father Edward Hall.

Funeral Service is scheduled for 11:00 am on October 6, 2020 at National Cemetery in Dixon, Ca. All are welcomed to attend and celebrate Cheryl’s life.
