Terry Don Rickard

Terry Don Rickard, 77, of North Fort Myers, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, December 22, 2021. Terry (Rick) is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Ruth May (Gorman) Rickard. Terry was born in Minneapolis, MN., on June 4, 1944, a son of the late Lois Shirley (Blair) and stepson of the late Lyle Rickard. He was a Navy Veteran serving during the Vietnam Era in the Cuban Missile Crisis, aboard the USS Wahkiakum County LST-1162. Terry was a former member of Roxborough Presbyterian Church, Philadelphia, PA, Lorane Bible Chapel, Reading, PA, Bethel Methodist Church in Murfreesboro, TN, and a current member at Holy Trinity Presbyterian Church in North Fort Myers, FL. He was also a long-time member of the American Legion.

Also surviving in addition to his wife, are his children: Shirley May and her husband Glenn D. Adam, Gail Ruth and her husband R.Scott McCrary, Guy Waren and his wife Eva-Maria Rickard, Wade Charles and his wife Jennifer Lynn Rickard; siblings: Michael and his wife Cathy Rickard, James Rickard, Wayne and his wife Lynda Rickard, Kurt and his wife Barbara Rickard, Christina and her husband John Tholen, Laurie and her husband David Dickson, Carole Dickson; 8 grandchildren: Brad Hermanson, Rebecca and husband Daniel Wenrich, Scott and wife Kelsey Ashburn, Nicole Ashburn, Julia and husband Peter Gramling, Nils Rickard, Memphis Rickard, Milanya Rickard; and 4 great grandchildren: Lucas Ashburn, Hunter Wenrich, Mason Ashburn and Everleigh Ashburn. Terry was predeceased by his sister, Shirley Rickard.

A viewing will be held Friday, December 31, 2021, at 10 AM followed by the service at 11 AM in Auman's Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reading, PA 19606.
