Sherry Michelle Williams, 64, of Reading, Pennsylvania passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023. She was born in Reading on December 20, 1958 a daughter of the late Charles Q. and Evelyn D. (Blake) Williams.
Sherry was a former member of St. John's Missionary Baptist Church. She worked at local voting polls as a minority inspector. She was truly a family person who loved to dance and was an excellent cook.
She leaves to cherish in her memory; her niece, Fantasia Sambou Robinson, nephew Oscar Sambou, great nieces, TeQuana Scrivens, Trinity Carey, Takota Carey, Taiah Carey, great nephews, Ti-pree Carey and Tre'vion Carey, great great nieces, Honezty Snyder, Alaura Lewis and Nova' Lee Lewis, Aunt Helen Miller of Milwaukee, WI., and special friend Edith Murray. Also surviving are cousins: Arrie Blake her son, David Blake, James Blake, Jr., Charlene Murff her kids, Erika Murff, Shandell Yarde, St. Clair Yarde and Sariah Yarde, Linda Murff and her child Tyisha Murff, Tammy Miller and her child Kenadee Miller, Angela Murff and a host of cousins in Milwaukee, WI., Arizona and California.
Sherry will be met in heaven's gates by her brother, Richard Robinson.
A viewing for Sherry will be Monday, September 11, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Theo C Auman, 247 Penn Street, Reading, PA 19601, followed by A Celebration of Life Service at 12:00 PM in the funeral home.
Sherry will be laid to rest in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
