He was the husband of Lorraine S. (Boyer) for 52 years.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Roy C. Bell, Sr. and Jennie (Huff) Bell.
He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean conflict, serving as an Airman 1st class from 1953 until 1961
Bob was employed as a steelworker with the former Dana Corp., Parish Steel Division for 30 years until retiring in 1994. He was a longtime, proud member in good standing with A.A. and enjoyed regularly attending meetings at "Easy Does It" in downtown Reading.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, John W. Bell and wife Susan of Mohnton and Harry R. Bell of Augusta, GA. Also surviving are his grandsons, Joshua Bell and wife Katie and Christopher Bell and wife Courtney. He is also survived by his great grandchildren, Emily, Cecilia, Ariel, Ivy, Evelyn, Mary, Caleb and Camryn. He was predeceased by his siblings, Roy, Jr., Richard, James, George, Audrey, Margaret, Loretta, Jeanette, Nancy and Elizabeth.
A Memorial Service will be held at Theo. C. Auman, Inc. Funeral Home, 247 Penn Street, Reading, Pa. 19601 on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 11:00 am. Friends and family will be received from 10:00-11:00 am.
