Mary Ann (Pickering) Brown, 84, of Blandon, Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Roger Noel Brown on September 2, 2022. They were married on November 15, 1958.
She was born in Allentown, PA., on March 13, 1940, a daughter of the late Eugene and Marguerite (Gaugler) Pickering. Mary Ann was a Parkland High School graduate and was employed by Fulton Bank as a teller retiring there. She loved baking, cooking and music, especially the piano and singing. She was very proud of her strong musical background and her faith to which she could remember the lyrics to any hymn despite her declining health. Mary Ann was a director for local church choirs. She loved being with her husband and family and enjoyed the simple ways of living.
Mary Ann is survived by her 2 daughters; Joy L. and her husband Michael Berry and Carol A. and her husband Emmett Lien, 4 grandchildren; Holli Berry, Ashley and her husband Nicholas Bowles, Kristina Wagers and Cheyenne Wagers, and 4 great grandchildren; Adalynn Ward, Kynlee Ward, Hunter Bowles and Hudson Bowles.
Mary Ann was predeceased by her 3 brothers; Rev. Roland Pickering, Dale Pickering and Joel Pickering and by her granddaughter, Andrea L. Berry.
A Funeral Service will be Monday May 20, 2024 at 12:30pm in Auman's Inc Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reiffton. Burial to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Online condolences and memories may be shared at www.aumansinc.com for the Brown Family.
