He is survived by his wife, Joan M (Martin) Terry.
Larry was born in Honey Brook on April 27, 1935, a son of the late Jackson and Gwendolyn (Miller) Terry.
He served in the Army Reserve as a Sergeant during the Berlin Crisis and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Larry
received his degree from Eckels College of Mortuary Science. He was employed by Theo C. Auman Funeral Home as a funeral director and general manager for 53 years, retiring in 1997 on a fulltime basis, and continued working on a part-time basis until his passing.
Larry was a member of American Legion Post # 0945 and also a member of Howell Lodge #0405 F&A.M. of PA.
In addition to his wife, Larry is also survived by his two daughters: Ariane Terry of Exeter Township and Yvette and her husband,
Michael Fisher, of Martinsburg, WV. There are three grandchildren: Diana Triplet, Benjamin Fisher, and Jacqueline Fisher, and three great-grandsons: Nathan, Ezra, and Jackson.
Larry is also survived by his sister, Nancy Peters of Sun Lakes, AZ. He was predeceased by his sister, Peggy Cardle.
A memorial service will be Friday, October 25, 2013 at 7 p.m. in Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St., Reading. A gathering will be Friday from 6:30 -7 p.m. in the funeral home.
