Jeanette L. Lengel

She is survived by her husband Robert D. Lengel with whom she shared 56 years of marriage. Jeanette was born in Reading on May 29, 1931, a daughter of the late A. Carmine and Josephine (Scimone) Torchia.

She was a member of St Margaret's RCC and was a member of a band called RAY and his Musical Diamonds.

In addition to her husband, Jeanette is also survived by her son, Edward D. and his wife, Kathryn Lengel, of Bern Township and her daughter, Robin J. and her husband, Michael Czar, of Blacksburg, VA. Her sister, Marie Fies of Bern Township and 5 grandchildren: Nick Czar, Ana Czar, Scott Keller, Matthew Keller, and Kristen Keller also survive her. Jeanette was predeceased by her son, Andrew C. Lengel in 1982.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 11 a.m. in St. Margaret's RCC 925 Centre Ave., Reading. Burial to follow in Gethsemane Cemetery. A viewing will be Wednesday 7-9 p.m. in Theo C. Auman Funeral Home 247 Penn St Reading. Contributions may be made to
