Freddie Thomas Martin Jr.

Freddie was born in Hephzibah, GA., on July 16, 1954 a son of the late Freddie T. Sr., and Geneva (Wright) Martin.

He was an inspector at Car-Tech for over 30 years. Freddie was a San Francisco 49er's and Atlanta Falcons fan.

Freddie known to his family as Tony, leaves to cherish in his memory, his 2 children; Freddie T. Martin III and his wife Cindy Slemmer-Martin and Tonika D. and her husband Shaun Richardson, 2 brothers, Kevin Martin and Fredrick Grant and 7 sisters, Elean (Ralph) Perkins, Esther Howard, Gloria (Simpson) Gray, Sentheal (Barry) Johnson, Darline Nesbit, Tammy Lambert and Cynthia Smith, and 5 grandchildren; Aislyn Martin, Ayden Martin, Julian Slemmer-Martin, DeShaun Richardson and Jakob Hendricks.

Freddie was met in heaven by his 3 siblings; Theodore Wright, Barron Wright and Diane Wright.

A Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday January 21, 2023 at 4pm in Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St. Reading. A viewing will be 3-4pm in the funeral home.

Freddie will be laid to rest next to his wife, Debbie, the love of his life, in Berks County Memorial Gardens.

The family wants to give a special thank you to Caring Hospice for all of the care they had given to Freddie.
