She was born in Foster Twp., Luzerne County, on January 17, 1934 a daughter of the late Adam and Hazel (Miller) Murphy.
When she resided in Florida, she enjoyed catering for her friend's parties. Eleanor was fond of crocheting in her pastime.
Surviving are her 4 children; Barbara A. and her husband Michael Birosik, Kathleen and her husband Dennis Hercik, James E. and his wife Roxanne Funk, Mark A. Funk and his girlfriend Ann Silfies, son-in-law, Terry Mann,12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Eleanor was predeceased by her daughter, Cynthia Mann and her 3 siblings; Adam Murphy, Norman Murphy and Alverna Cloud. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
