Dwight C. "Rick" Davis, 76, of Reading, Pennsylvania reached the end of his journey on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. Dwight was predeceased by the love of his life, Christine M.(Gudekunst) Davis on May 5, 2016. He was born in Reading January 8, 1946, a son of the late Chester A. Sr. and Addie (Williams) Davis. He proudly served his country in the Army National Guard and was an avid San Francisco 49ers fan. He was employed by Reading Tube as a crane operator and lastly as a Crossing Guard for 20 years, 3 years at 17th and Perkiomen Ave., and 17 years at Schuylkill Ave. & Douglas Sts., last working on March 23.
He is survived by his 2 sons: David C. and his wife Mimi Davis and Todd C. and his wife Mary Davis, brother, Chester Davis, 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a host of relatives and close family friends. Dwight was predeceased by his 2 sisters; Tina Davis and LaCresia Davis and granddaughter, Geena Davis.
A Viewing for Dwight "Rick" will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2022 from 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM in Theo C. Auman, 247 Penn Street, Reading, PA 19601, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 6:30 PM.
