Otha Lee Brown Sr.

He was born May 20, 1943, in Jackson, Mississippi, to parents Elsie Lee Henderson and Ira Lee Brown Sr. Otha operated the Busy Bee Disposal Company for many years. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, and loved to barbeque. Most of all, he cherished the time spent with his family.

Otha is survived by his children Nichole Brown and Otha Brown Jr., along with their mother Alma Madgett. He is also survived by his significant other of 24 years Carol Sue Wendt, and her children: Donald Justice II, Jeffery Wendt, Ruby Carter, and Patricia Wendt. Otha is also survived by his grandchildren: Donald Justice III, Alexis Carter, Camren Wendt, Katelyn Justice, Haley Cales, Kyron Carter, Korchae Cox, and Cierra Jane Kinter, along with all of his loving siblings, nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father Ira Brown Sr., his mother Elsie Lee Henderson, his step-mother Ruby Brown, his daughter Ann Marie Cox, and his sister Candy Brown.

Cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Otha’s Life will be held on Monday, December 28, 2015, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna.
