Norma Jean Revels

She was born July 7, 1935, in Athens, Ohio, to parents Orville and Goldie Mae (Spencer) Coleman. Norma graduated from Akron North High School. She was an upholsterer with Lane Upholstery in Kent and was a talented seamstress. Norma enjoyed watching old TV shows and reading.

Above all, she was a faithful Christian, loving mother, and proud grandmother. Norma is survived by her children: John (Terri) Revels, Darrin (Lisa) Revels, Lisa (Rick) Savage, and Josette (Joe) Phipps, as well as her 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents, ex-husband and father of her six children Albert M. Revels, her sons Rocky and Bruce Revels, and her siblings: Nelly, Zane, David, Joe, and Paul.

Friends and family will be received Friday, December 6, 2024, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM with a funeral service officiated by Pastor David Ballert at 12:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna. Interment will follow at Grandview Memorial Park.
