Maxine was born in Akron, Ohio on June 30, 1938 to parents Charles Floyd and Viola (Burkett) Holler of Buffalo Mills, PA. She was retired after a long career as a press operator and quality control for Aurora Plastics. Maxine was a faith driven woman and had attended Newton Falls Lutheran Church where she also taught Sunday school.
Maxine enjoyed traveling, especially to the casinos in Las Vegas. She loved photography, taking thousands of pictures with her 35mm camera. Maxine was an avid gardener, tending to large gardens over the years. She loved her roses and her fresh blueberries picked from her own blueberry patch. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and considered her family most important in her life.
Maxine is survived by her children: Daniel A. Watson, Matthew R. (Chris) Watson, Bryan E. (Deborah) Watson, Jeffrey S. Watson, Charles E. (Lisa) Watson, Kelly J. (Michael) Becker and step-daughter Teresa Staats. Left also to cherish her memory are 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Larry Melvin Sexton, son Ronald M. Watson (dec.1978), son-in-law Bernie Staats and her siblings Vance Holler, Blanche Holler, Thelma Federonich, George Holler and Pearl Lipscomb.
Friends will be received at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E. Main St., Ravenna, on Sunday, March 5 2023 from 12-2pm where funeral services, officiated by Pastor Dan Caruso, will be held on Monday, March 6, at 12pm.
